Turkey Meatballs Spaghetti using canned sauce.
Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • ½ cup Panko
  • 1 egg
  • 3 sprigs green onions chopped
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 yellow zucchini sliced
  • 4 oz baby bella mushrooms
  • 14 oz Mom's marinara sauce
  • ½ container Banza Rotini Pasta
  • 2 sprigs fresh basil
  • 1 tsp Parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. Bring large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Prepare Banza Rotini pasta according to package, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, Panko, egg, green onions, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Make 1 inch meatballs and place on a clean plate.
  4. Bring large skillet to medium high heat, add olive oil.
  5. Brown meatballs on all sides, then add onions and sliced zucchini.
  6. Once zucchini softens, add mushrooms and stir until just cooked through.
  7. Add marinara sauce and bring to a soft boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  8. Add Banza Rotini and stir until warm.
  9. Serve hot and garnish with basil and fresh Parmesan cheese.
